Job Description
Overview

We're looking for a talented individual with a strong desire to help us create industry leading software products for the nation's top corporations and engaging customer experiences on our web properties. As a UX Researcher, you will work with our customers, end users and partner organizations to understand their diverse needs and inform product development decision making. You will also partner with marketing resources to advise on best practices and enhancements for web design and customer experience. Responsibilities
  • Work closely with product and design teams to identify research questions, and then build and execute research plans to answer them
  • Communicate insights gained through research to a diverse audience that includes designers, product managers, engineers, and business leaders
  • Uncover actionable results that drive tactical and strategic product decisions
  • Support the customer experience throughout our websites, strengthening our brand, and increasing user engagement
  • Leverage personas, analytics and user research and usability testing to advise UX design solutions from concept to implementation through deliverables such as wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, style guides and prototypes

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience conducting user experience research in a software product setting
  • End-to-end experience with all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
  • Experience applying various user research methods such as surveys, interviews, field observation and usability studies
  • Strong understanding of the strengths and shortcomings of different research methods, including when and how to apply them during each phase of product development
  • Experience working with product management, designers and software engineers
  • Effective interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Ability to manage time effectively as part of an autonomous team
